Milo was found wandering the Town of St. Paul after being spotted by multiple residents for several weeks. Many people tried to help him get back home, but sadly, no one ever came forward to claim him. Although he technically had an “owner,” there was no concern for his wellbeing. When Milo was injured, it was a kind neighbour—not his owner—who brought him to the veterinarian to receive treatment. Despite that help, Milo continued to suffer from hunger and a lack of love and care.

Ellie was originally rescued by us as a puppy and later adopted by a lovely older couple in Tofield. Unfortunately, she couldn’t get along with their long-time resident cat. Ellie is definitely a people-loving dog—she thrives on human companionship, enjoys affection, and is happiest when she’s by your side. She’s now looking for a cat-free home where she can be the centre of attention and love.

Susie was brought to us in June 2025 after being rescued in Tofield. When she arrived, it was clear she had spent a long time on the streets—she was underweight and in poor condition. A couple of weeks later, we found a family interested in adopting her and arranged a one-day trial. However, less than a day later, they contacted us saying Susie had escaped, claiming that “someone” had let her out. Their story later changed, and Susie remained missing for four months. Eventually, we received a call from ACCC informing us that they had found her. She’s now back in our care.

Ivy was rescued from Saddle Lake along with her sister (LUNA) and her mom (PADDY).

She absolutely loves to play, and her puppy energy is off the charts—once she gets going, it’s hard to stop her! Ivy is still having a few accidents in the house, but she’s improving every day and learning quickly.

Luna was rescued from Saddle Lake along with her sister, Ivy, and their mom, Paddy.

Compared to her sister, Luna has a calmer personality. During our adoption events, she often lies down and gently greets people. She may be a little shy at first, but she truly enjoys playing and having fun with other dogs and kids once she feels comfortable.

Bonnie is an incredibly strong and devoted mama who lovingly raised 11 beautiful puppies. Now that her babies are growing up and finding their own families, Bonnie is ready for a well-deserved break and a calm, puppy-free home where she can finally relax and be pampered. She’s so comfortable around cats that she would sometimes step out of the puppy room for a little “me time."
