Birdie was originally rescued by the City of Edmonton and stayed at the Edmonton Humane Society until she was adopted by her previous owner.

Her previous dad was a gentleman in his 70s who gave Birdie plenty of love and care. Unfortunately, keeping up with her endless energy became too much for him, even though he loved her dearly. With a broken heart, he made the difficult decision to surrender Birdie to MASS-CARE at the end of October, hoping she would find a home better suited to her needs.

It took us less than an hour at the shelter to discover Birdie's true personality! She LOVES to run, play, get into a little mischief, and let her excitement take over. This girl has a whole lot of energy packed into her body, and sometimes she just can't contain it!

Birdie would love an active family with children who can keep up with her playful spirit. An acreage or farm environment with plenty of room to run, explore, and burn off her energy could be just what she needs.

Birdie has so much love and life to share. She's simply looking for a family whose lifestyle matches her big personality and endless enthusiasm!
