13 kittens were brought to us by a kind family from Beaver County. They discovered a couple of boxes abandoned on a farm, each containing kittens. Some of these kittens were so young that their eyes hadn’t even opened yet, and a few were in very poor condition. Because the family didn’t have the experience to care for such young kittens, they reached out to us a few days ago for help. 

 

Sadly, we lost 7 of the kittens despite doing everything we could.

When they arrived, they appeared to be only about two weeks old. At that age, kittens depend on their mother's warmth, milk, and constant care to survive. Even with around-the-clock bottle feeding and dedicated care, orphaned kittens this young often face overwhelming challenges.

 

The remaining 6 kittens fought hard and made an incredible recovery. Watching them grow stronger each day was truly rewarding.

 

5 of those kittens have found loving forever homes, and after everything we went through together, we decided to keep one special kitten as a permanent member of our family.
