A New Beginning for One Incredible Family
Rescue Timeline
Jan 16, 2026 to May 31, 2026
At the beginning of 2026, two brave dogs, Bonnie and Jack, welcomed 11 beautiful puppies into the world.
When they first arrived at our shelter, the puppies' eyes were still closed. They were tiny, fragile, and completely dependent on their mother. Seeing how small and helpless they were reminded us just how important it was to keep this family safe.
Bonnie devoted herself to caring for all 11 puppies, staying by their side until they were 8 weeks old and ready to begin their own journeys. During that time, Jack remained at our shelter, where he was neutered and received the care he needed while waiting for his forever home.
Their story has a happy ending:
-
Jack was adopted in March 2026.
-
Bonnie was adopted in May 2026.
-
2 puppies found loving homes through Wild Rose Humane Society in Didsbury.
-
2 puppies found loving homes through the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) in Calgary.
-
The remaining 7 puppies were successfully adopted into wonderful forever homes through our society.
What began as the rescue of one family became the start of thirteen new lives filled with hope, love, and second chances. We couldn't be happier for Bonnie, Jack, and every one of their puppies as they begin the next chapter of their lives with families who will love them forever.
