Over the past couple of months, numerous complaints were received regarding a residence in Andrew, AB, where the owner had multiple dogs and was unable to properly manage them, resulting in ongoing excessive barking and noise. The CPO issued multiple tickets to the owner, but despite these efforts, the situation continued and the dogs remained poorly managed. The CPO subsequently contacted our shelter for advice, and after discussing the circumstances, it was agreed that removing several of the puppies from the home would be the best course of action. During the CPO’s visit, he observed that several of the puppies were covered in mud, dirt, and blood. Four puppies were subsequently removed from the residence and transported to our shelter, where they could receive immediate care, cleaning, and medical attention.
